Build Change Capacity
For Senior Leaders, Multi-Team Leaders and Executive Sponsors
At an inflection point, priorities collide and coordination cracks across boundaries. Build Change Capacity helps networked teams to see what’s in the way of the truths and mindsets that meet real-world challenges. Accept.
Seeing the ecosystem as a whole
You are responsible for work that crosses teams, functions, and partners, and it can feel like you are holding a puzzle where the pieces keep moving. The pressure is real: conflicting priorities, unclear ownership across boundaries, and important work slipping through the cracks while everyone stays busy.
The truth many leaders sense but rarely name is that this is not a personal failing; it is an ecosystem doing what it was set up to do. The belief at the heart of Build Change Capacity is that when leaders can see the whole ecosystem together, they can move from reacting to shaping it.
This program meets you at that inflection point. It helps you and your networked teams to acknowledge: “I am trying to hold this all together, and it feels really hard.” Through naming what’s happening, leaders and teams can see what is really happening across the ecosystem, and to work towards how to respond together with more clarity, courage, and cross-boundary collaboration.
Four-phase journey centered on seeing the whole ecosystem.
Across these four phases, we use what we learn in each stage to refine the work, re‑commission with stakeholder-partners, and adjust how the ecosystem coordinates over time.
Who benefits
This program is for senior leaders and sponsors who are responsible for work that crosses teams, functions, and partners—and who sense that the real leverage is in how the whole ecosystem coordinates, beyond how any one team performs.
-
Senior Leaders
You hold responsibility for outcomes that stretch across teams and timelines, and it can feel like you are carrying the strain of a system in constant activity. This program gives you space and support to see the whole ecosystem in front of you, so you can make a few brave, well-chosen shifts that ease the load on people while strengthening results where it matters most.
-
Multi-Team Leaders
You sit in the middle of many moving pieces — teams, projects, partners — and you feel the friction when the connections do not quite gel. This program helps you name what is really getting in the way, then reset the rhythms, decisions, and conversations so your teams experience more flow, less churn, and a clearer sense of moving together.
-
Executive Sponsors
You put your name behind work that crosses boundaries, and you feel the risk when efforts stall, fragment, or fade once the spotlight moves on. This program partners you with a coordinated coach team and a systemic approach. The changes you champion have a better chance of taking root, growing over time, and standing strong through the next wave of real-time pressure.
Change-readiness, built in practice
-
More than twenty years as a corporate professional and over fifteen years as a coach at major inflection points have shaped a toolkit grounded in strategies on networks of teams, crisis readiness, and systemic coaching. Approaches are translated into accessible practices — especially in critical cross-team meetings — that help people step out of reactivity, see the ecosystem more clearly, and make better decisions.
-
Creative exercises, imagery, and metaphors offer a doorway into how the wider ecosystem really feels to lead and to work within. Stepping briefly out of usual meeting patterns, leaders can notice what is not being named across teams, where energy rises or drops in the system, and what they are avoiding. This kind of ‘serious fun’ helps organizations move beyond the weeds and stay connected to the purpose that binds their network of teams together.
-
Systemic coaching treats your teams of teams and their stakeholder-partners as a living system. A coordinated coach team works with leaders together and apart to explore the “heart” of the ecosystem (what you care about and are here to contribute), the “lungs” (how you breathe through pace, pressure, and interdependence), and the “backbone” (the cross-team goals, roles, structures, and agreements that hold you up). This lens helps you see what needs to be reconnected, rebalanced, or released.
-
Throughout the engagement, your ecosystem moves through deliberate loops of action and reflection. Shadow coaching learning labs in live meetings, experiments in how you connect and decide, and stakeholder touchpoints are followed by guided debriefs on what worked, what did not, and what to adjust. Over time, these loops build change-readiness as a shared capacity across teams of teams, so new ways of working are lived.
What our time will look like together
Each program is custom-designed to your ecosystem needs, timeline, budget, and desired outcomes.
Systemic Team Coaching
A coordinated coach team focuses on the ecosystem rather than any single team. Sessions use real work and live meetings to strengthen how you commission, clarify, co‑create, connect, and learn across your network of teams.
Team Charters & Stakeholder‑Partner Mapping
Cross‑team charters make expectations, decision paths, and handoffs visible, while mapping critical stakeholders and ecosystem partners shows where work truly depends on relationships beyond any one team.
Team Diagnostic
An ecosystem‑level diagnostic (surveys, interviews, and pattern‑spotting) surfaces how work, trust, and pressure are moving through your network of teams. Leaders get a shared picture of what is really happening.
Continuous Support
Between dedicated team sessions, leaders receive coaching support and check‑ins to review experiments, and reflection prompts to capture learning. This ongoing connection helps new patterns embed, adjust, and hold as real‑world conditions shift.
Our Process
Your Ecosystem Coaching Journey
Build Change Capacity unfolds in four stages that meet your ecosystem where it is and move with you as conditions change. Each stage opens a new beginning for how your network of teams works together, with clear touchpoints across the system.
